Notice of Public Hearing: 408 4th St SE


William Wells, on behalf of Go Gopher Rentals, LLC, has applied for the following land use applications to allow for the new construction of 27-unit multiple-family dwelling, located at 408 4th St SE, in the R5 Multiple-Family District:

  • Variance to reduce the minimum east interior side yard setback. Variance to reduce the minimum rear yard setback.
  • Variance to reduce the minimum front yard setback.
  • Variance to reduce the minimum off-street parking.
  • Variance to increase the maximum number of compact parking stalls.
  • Variance to reduce the minimum distance between a parking space and the principal structure.
  • Site plan review.

The City Planning Commission will meet on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 4:30 p.m., in Room 317 City Hall, 350 S. 5th St., Minneapolis, MN. lnterested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
