Notice of Public Hearing: General Mills Site Redevelopment


Cody Dietrich, on behalf of Doran-CSM SE l, LLC has filed the following land use applications for the property located at 200 University Ave SE, 215 2nd St SE, 223 3rd Ave SE, and 229 2nd St SE:

  • Conditional use permit for a planned unit development.
  • Variance to increase the maximum floor area ratio.
  • Site plan review to allow a new 26-story residential building with 3,800 square feet of retail uses.

The City Planning Commission will meet on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 4:30 p.m., in Room 317 City Hall, 350 S. 5th St., Minneapolis, MN. lnterested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact. Please visit for the agenda with staff reports (web page will be updated by the end of the day Wednesday prior to the meeting date).
